Welcome to Heather McAllister's Personal Page
It is a fatal nueromuscular disease. As of now there is no known cause, cure or effective treatment.
On Sunday June 2 at Lakeside Park we will walk in memory of our loved ones, to raise money to support those who are still battleing this diease and for hope that one day no one will have to.
My family walks in honor of our mother Kathleen who passed away in 2009. Also for our grandfather Andrew and uncle Ken who were both affected. Kathy was bright, in all senses of the word, full of love, kindness and joy. She was brave throughout her whole life and especially at the end. She had a sparkle in her eye that could let you know it will all be ok. She lived a lot of life in her years and her spirit lives on through us still.
Your support in anyway is appreciated.
